P-Tash's Fantasy 12 Pack
Over the next several days, I will be releasing my overall player rankings in 12 player increments (by round) in P-tash's Fantasy 12 Packs. In these rankings you will discover the keys to unlock the fantasy football championship in your leagues (unless you play in my leagues, of course). Caution: Hot Takes ahead. 1. David Johnson (RB1) - RB1 from 2016 is back and healthy after posting a better season two years ago than Gurley had last season. 2. Todd Gurley II (RB2) - RB1 from 2017 led the NFL in red-zone carries and had 19 TD and 87 targets - McVay says role in passing game is secure. 3. Ezekial Elliott (RB3) - Led NFL in rushing yards per game each of first two seasons. Workhorse RB with safe floor.
4. Le'Veon Bell (RB4) - Led all RB's in rushing attempts and receptions in 2017. Skipping camp 2nd straight season. 5. Antonio Brown (WR1) - He's Antonio Brown. 6. DeAndre Hopkins (WR2) - Led league with 174 targets and 13 Rec TD. Opened an electric factory with Deshaun Watson. 7. Alvin Kamara (RB5) - RB3 last season had 100 targets and has huge opportunity to come out of the gate fast with Ingram suspended Weeks 1-4.
8. Saquon Barkley (RB6) - Should be every-down RB and is a freak at 230 lbs with a 4.40 forty. 9. Odell Beckham Jr. (WR3) - A lock for 100 catches, 1300 yards and 10 TD if he stays healthy. WR1 upside. 10. Julio Jones (WR4) - Despite Matt Ryan's best efforts to sabotage him, Jones has 1400-1800 yards each of the past 4 seasons and is due for increased TD's after only having 3 last season. 11. Melvin Gordon (RB7) - Not going to be pretty, but the workload is there. 3rd most carries in the NFL and 83 targets last season. 12. Kareem Hunt (RB8) - 2017 NFL Rushing Leader led chiefs to a 7-2 record when he has 20+ touches. Andy Reid will feed him carries.
